Our industrial lamp’s cage is composed of 3/16″ round bar that has been welded and bent to make a protective covering for the bulb. The cage is extremely strong and cannot be bent with your hands. The cage is then connected to gas piping, which is subsequently welded to a reclaimed automobile gearbox gear. The light is then finished with a flip switch for convenient on/off operation and a twisted cloth chord to complete the look. This lamp is a high-quality handcrafted item made entirely of metal with no plastic. Savage Metal will deliver nothing but the finest. This industrial lamp is ideal for use as a bedroom lamp, decorative table lamp in entryways, reading light, or kitchen counter lighting. The lampshade has no dust cover since that is how we intended it. Please bear in mind that the gears we use are recycled and that each lamp is unique due to the handcrafted nature of this product. The owner was based in the United States. (The lamp does not use batteries. It has a toggle switch and a cloth cable for plugging into the wall).
