We knew this artwork would be exceptional from the minute we chose to make it. Something no one else has…and something a fireman would love for a lifetime. There is no other lamp like it…anywhere, as seen by the final product.
Everything about this lamp is as dedicated as the brave firemen who risk their lives every day. The majority of the parts, sections, and fittings were custom-made, and the total lamp weighs 11 pounds. It’s sturdy on the inside and out…no cheap plastic here. It’s made to last.
We created this Firefighter’s Lamp to seem “salty,” so we hand-distressed the finish to give it a well-seasoned appearance. After the smoke has cleared, we have defects and blemishes all over this lamp, which gives a lot of character.
We placed a “Steam Gauge” on the left side that is actually a functional voltmeter since gauges, valves, and handles are an important element of the job. When you turn on the light, the red needle immediately displays the amount of voltage present. In addition, directly below the light socket, we built a “steam” faceplate casing with a dimmer inside so the lamp may be muted or switched on and off effortlessly. The unique red dimmer knob was inspired by the handle of an antique water valve. The red firebox serves as the piece’s focal point, and the door may be opened.
The lamp would be incomplete without an LED Nostalgic Edison Bulb, so we’ve included one for free. We also included some nice-looking 3-conductor jet-black twisted cloth-covered wire that pays homage to old wire.
Our amazing lamp is about 24″ tall and 12″ broad, and it looks fantastic anyplace. Get one for yourself or a special fireman in your life.
