This Writing Box is in the same style as those used during colonial times. The flip-out top lid of this box forms the writing surface, with six storage compartments for pens, ink wells, and supplies, a pull-out concealed drawer with a ring pull, and two slots for paper. Dimensions: 10-1/2 “x 9″w x 3-3/4″h. Teak wood with ornamental brass rivets on black metal corner accents, finely stained and polished with beeswax. It makes an excellent, one-of-a-kind gift or is ideal for historical home décor!
Dimensions when fully unfolded and open: 24-1/2″; all compartments and drawer depths: 1 to 1-1/4″. INCLUDES: one teak wood turned pen; one transparent square glass ink well; one package of rich, black ink powder; and three sheets of aged paper measuring 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2”. NOTE: This is a worn-aged antique replica that is NEW. Color and appearance differences are inherent in the production process and add to each box’s distressed beauty and uniqueness, so no two are precisely the same.
